The fall of the bitcoin and the other cryptocurrencies may be good news for the cryptomaniacs?

The depreciation of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies may be good news for the cryptomaniacs. For example, the ripple is traded at levels not seen since the autumn of last year just before it erupts and increases its value 10 times. The question now is whether the ripple will be able to return quickly over the psychological limit of 30 cents, or its decline will continue.
Quite similar is the situation with the ethereum. The digital currency is at its lowest levels since April, after a peak of $1,400. From a technical point of view, the ether is in a strong downward trend after overcoming the lower limit of a narrowing triangle.
On its way down, the ethereum does not have many obstacles, and its decline may increase if we see a drop below the $300 psychological barrier that temporarily limits its depreciation.
A very serious decline was recorded by the bitcoin cash. It is traded at levels of about $570, and its decline may increase if we see a breakthrough in the key support level at $550 for a coin.

Ripple again under 30 cents

Remember the ripple mania at the end of last year? Then the cryptocurrency rose from 25 cents to 3 dollars. In just a few weeks.
Now things are the same again. The ripple has returned back to less than 30 cents. Will, however, it have the power to rise again at a similar pace? Hardly...
The record-breaking decline in cryptocurrencies continues. An exception to this negative trend is only the bitcoin, which is sustained at levels above $6,300.
The depreciation of the cryptocurrencies began after the US regulators refused to issue a permission for an index fund license based on the Winklevos brothers bitcoin.
The decline in the digital coin has intensified after US Bank Goldman Sachs commented that we can see a further decline in the bitcoin.
Later on, the fall of the cryptocurrencies accelerated after a massive wrong bet of $416 million in bitcoin futures that remained uncovered after the fall of the cryptocurrency.

Trump failed the cryptomarkets

Major cryptocurrencies on Wednesday are falling in price, as world markets are in turmoil after US President Donald Trump broke off a nuclear deal with Iran. At the same time, after a significant collapse on Tuesday evening, on Wednesday, the rate of decline of the cryptocurrencies has slowed somewhat and, probably, in the short term it will be already on such significant levels.
The bitcoin rate declined 0.13% overnight, to $9,112 with a capitalization of $155.7 billion. The rate of Litecoin was weakened by 3.25% to 154.6 dollars with capitalization $8.7 billion. Ethereum at the same time dropped by 1.16% to $725.8, its capitalization is $72.4 billion. The rate of Ripple fell by 2.5% overnight, to $0.78 with a capitalization of $30.6 billion. The bitcoin is yesterday's news?

The cryptocurrencies absolutely stole the show in the past year. From the beginning of last year to the end, market capitalization of digital currencies increased by more than 3,300% or nearly $600 billion. This may turn into the largest increase in the capitalization of an asset, within 12 months.
And while there were many factors that predetermined this increase in capitalization, the root of the rise of cryptocurrencies was largely the bitcoin.
The largest cryptocurrency then played a major role in the digital money world. Even today, the bitcoin has the largest market capitalization, but its dominance has fallen seriously.
Although the bitcoin is estimated at $190 billion, it occupies about 40% of the total market capitalization of virtual currencies.
For comparison a year ago, its dominance was serious with over 80% of the total market capitalization. How fast, though, things change!
For the period between 2013 and March 2017, the market share of the bitcoin from the total capitalization ranged between 74 and 96%. Over the last three months, however, BTC's market cap is less than 40% of the total.
Meanwhile, other cryptocurrencies, such as ethereum and ripple, have seriously increased their share of total market capitalization.
The problem is that new and better cryptocurrencies are created to perform the basic function that the bitcoin was conceived - faster and cheaper financial transactions without the need for third-party mediation.

The bitcoin lost $72 billion in 2018

The bitcoin continues to be the largest crypto currency by market-capitalization, but its domination is seriously threatened after the recent price collapse. Only last week the bitcoin lost more than $1,000 of its value, dropping at levels of less than $9,000 per coin.
In fact, the bitcoin breached the key support level of $9,150, which may trigger further downsizing of the currency.
The next key level of support is $7,600, where there is the 61.8 percent fibonacci correction of the March increase last year to over $19,500.
If the last level drops, then we can see a further decline in the currency to the 50-day moving average, which is at $5,300.
The market capitalization of the bitcoin is at a level of $ 150 billion, which is 33.6% of the total market capitalization of all cryptocurrencies. The latter is at a level of $456 billion, or about half of its peak, at over $850 billion.
Not only does the bitcoin record serious losses. The ripple returned to trading levels below $1.
However, the ethereum remains the least affected by the sale. The cryptocurrency continues to trade over $1,000 per coin, or just 20% below its historically highest value. By comparison, the ripple lost over 70% of its top, and the bitcoin over 50%.

The bitcoin drops by 12%, returns below $10,000

The sales of the world's financial markets have shifted to the bitcoin and the other cryptocurrencies. The largest and most popular one lost 12% of its value to a level of $9,800 this morning. So the bitcoin went back below the $10,000 psychological limit for a bottom test at $9,300.
Increasingly, the skeptics and technical analysts are warning that the fallback of the bitcoin may continue to take full effect if its bottom at $9,300 is overcome.
Of course, there are also those who believe that the current levels of the bitcoin are suitable for the purchase of the cryptocurrency, with a potential rise for the test of the top at nearly $19,500.
Bitcoin sales were also transferred to other cryptocurrencies. Decline was also noted in ethereum, ripple, and lightcoin.
The ripple, once again returned to the $1 psychological limit, as early this morning was traded at $1.06.
Ethereum lost nearly 10% of its value to be exchanged at $1,055. However, it lost only about 20% of its top, against a loss of bitcoin of over 50%.
The most losing among the major currencies is the ripple, which has fallen by more than 70% from its record highs at the end of last year.

The bitcoin may fall by 90%

Cryptocurrencies launched the first day of the week "on a lame leg," after regulatory concerns continued to harass investors. Over the weekend, some of the largest Indian banks, including the State Bank of India, have stopped serving accounts, connected with crypto-exchanges, according to the Economic Times of India.
This is coupled with concerns about serious regulation coming from South Korea, where the government may introduce a law banning the trading of virtual currencies on local exchanges.
After its decline on Monday, the bitcoin fell below $10,500, or a decline of 8.5%, and the price of the ethereum was back below $1,000. With its downgrade, the bitcoin returned below its 100-day moving average, at $10,990.
According to technical analysts, closing the bitcoin below the specified level may open the cryptocurrency path to a new drop and test the psychological limit of $10,000.
Closing below the 100-day moving average could open the bitcoin's way to support line at $9,000. After the break of this level last time, the bitcoin marked five consecutive weeks of rise, which led it to a record high of $19,670.
Serious decline was recorded by other key cryptocurrencies, as the ripple, which declined again to a level of 1.20 dollars per coin after the momentary increase of over 1.60 at the end of last week.

The bitcoin over $10,000? (2)

Indeed, the ethereum also recorded its highest value in history - at a level of $485 on Sunday.
The only one of the main cryptocurrencies, which is significantly behind its height, is the ripple. The cryptocurrency are traded at levels of $0.245 per share, and are nearly 50% below the highest in its history.
Coinbase, the largest US pound exchange, added more than 100,000 accounts between Wednesday and Friday, just before the Black Friday. The total number of accounts is already at a level of 13.1 million.
For comparison, the Coinbase Exchange had about 4.9 million users last November.
The rallying of the bitcoin is undoubtedly related to the CME's plans to present futures on the bitcoin in the second week of December. Until then, there is still a long time, so it is quite possible that the psychological limit of $10,000 will be even overcome.

The bitcoin over $10,000? (1)

The bitcoin follows its plan, and apparently nothing can stop it on its way to $10,000. On the first day of the new week, the cryptocurrency reached a new historic peak at levels above $9500.
So it is only about 5 percent growth to rise to $10,000. A level that hardly anyone could imagine at the beginning of the year, when the cryptocurrency was trading well over $1,000.
In other words, the bitcoin has risen nearly 9.5 times since the beginning of the year and is undoubtedly one of the most expensive assets in the financial markets at all. Of course, if it comes to profitability, that of the ethereum and the ripple are far higher.
It should not be forgotten, however, that the bitcoin is the main and largest cryptocurrency, whose market capitalization accounts for more than 50% of the total of the crypto currencies.
On Sunday, the bitcoin rose for the first time to more than $9,000, reaching $9,250.
As a result, the market capitalization exceeded the $150 billion psychological limit. For comparison, the second largest market capitalization cryptocurrency - the ethereum is with a market capitalization of 44 billion dollars.

The market capitalization of crypto-currencies is up again to 100 billion

The rise in the price of crypto-currencies led by the bitcoin led to an increase in the overall market capitalization of digital currencies, again to $95 billion.
The moods among the crypto-currencies market participants were generally negative for most of July. As the month progressed, however, the support of digital currencies grew.
Crypto-currencies launched this year with a market capitalization of just 17.68 billion dollars. It reached the highest value of 116.28 billion dollars. Apparently, digital currencies are now pointing to their maximum value.
For the first time, the market capitalization of crypto-currencies has passed the psychological limit of $100 billion in mid-June. This was mainly caused by the positive news about the bitcoin and the ethereum.
Interesting is the fact that the share of the bitcoin from the total market capitalization of the crypto-currencies fell from 90% to less than 50%. At the beginning of the year, the bitcoin accounted for 87.33% of the total market capitalization, while that of the eterum was only 3.98%.
The market capitalization of the ripple was only 1.32%. For comparison, to date, the ethereum constitutes 30% of the total market capitalization, while the ripple - 11.1%.
In mid-June, when the bitcoin was traded at $2,500, its market capitalization momentarily reached the lowest value of 37.1% of the total of the digital currencies.
In absolute terms, the market capitalization of the bitcoin was $45.2 billion, that of the ethereum was 20.95 billion, and the ripple's was $7.37 billion. The lightcoin has a market capitalization of 2.3 billion dollars.
